Bombers Suffer First Loss of the Season

Bomber Football loses 23-0 to rival Kankakee Valley

The Bombers suffered their first loss this season 23-0 by Kankakee Valley in their season opener this past Friday night. KV’s run game was seemingly unstoppable after the first quarter. The Bomber defense just couldn’t compete with first down after first down from KV’s running back.

The Bombers had held the Cracker Barrel for the past 3 years but lost it this year in a crushing first game of the 2024-25 season. The series record is now 35-20 with the Bombers currently in the lead. Hopefully the Bombers can come back from this loss and come out with a winning season and win the barrel back next year.
