The Lady Bomber volleyball team fell to Kankakee Valley last night, Tuesday August 27, in 3 sets. The team couldn’t bring it all together despite various rallies and lost the Chicken Bucket for the first time since 2021. The Bombers were led on offense by Kamri Rowland who had 14 kills on 40 attempts. The defensive effort was led by Brooklyn Bilyeu, who had 11 digs.
Kankakee Valley won set 1, 25-18, set 2, 25-15, and set 3 25-22. The Bombers will be back in action tomorrow night, Thursday August 29, at Kouts, with a JV start time of 5, and Varsity following.
RCHS will be back at home next Tuesday, September 3, against South Newton, with a start time of 5:30.
