The Lady Bomber volleyball team dropped a close match to Kouts Thursday night. The Bombers got off to a hot start to begin the night, winning the first set 27-25. After the first set the Bombers lost the next 3 to the Fillies. The scores for those sets were 25-23, 25-23, and 25-20 respectively. Leading the Bombers on offense was Kamri Rowland, who had 11 kills. The defensive effort was led by Emily Louck, who had 26 digs on the night.
The Bombers will hit the court again Tuesday, September 3rd, against the South Newton Rebels. That game will be played at Rensselaer, with a JV start time of 5:30. Conference play will also begin next week for the Bombers, as they’ll travel to Twin Lakes Thursday, September 5th to play the Indians.
